Responsibilities

• Provide research support to our Consulting Client’s teams primarily metals & mining worldwide looking at the Chinese, Asian and global markets

• Conduct a wide range of research tasks in the commodity markets across the Basic Materials domain

• Help the clients to maintain and develop a comprehensive database of mining operations

• Collect, summarize and analyze mines in depth in order to develop a deep understanding on the market

• Provide on demand support to others in various other sectors research task

Required Background

• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin (both oral and written)

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in metal & mining or other related business academic background with interest or previous work experience in the mining industry

   Technical Skills

• Interest in economics, financial and general business concepts with good understanding of the industry dynamics of the mining sector business concepts and terminology

• Wide range knowledge of mining commodity product chain is preferable

• Work experience within the mining industry with focus on research, economic analysis and database building will be valued

• Comprehensive computer skills including online research, excel/spreadsheet analysis, powerpoint and word processing
